A bit about me:I'm a second-year PhD student in the University Program in Genetics and Genomics (UPGG) at Duke University. I'm currently in the lab of Dennis C. Ko where I study how sex-specific differences in gene expression affect influenza infection outcomes. Before coming to Duke, I spent my undergrad years at the University of Kentucky working on population genetics in the Weisrock Lab, and pathways of Alzheimer's Disease in the Butterfield Lab. If you want to learn more, check out my CV or contact me!
Claims to fame: I can sing all of "Handy" by "Weird Al" Yankovic, speak some conversational Spanish, and make fantastic crêpes. |
Design
There's no reason why science can't look nice. I'm interested in using design tools like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (among other things) to make custom graphics, posters, and figures that are simple and appealing. Check out my portfolio to see what I've been working on in my spare time.
